Capping off a record-breaking year for passenger loads, airlines expect 45.2 million fliers between December 16 and January 5, up 3.5% from the same period in 2015. While the festivities hopefully keep spirits bright, it’s also important to remember that more crowds and confusion can add up to increased risks.
