Enter LAAPOA’s 50/50 Raffle to Help Deputy Valdez in Her Fight

LASD Deputy Adriana Valdez received exciting news at her 20-week pregnancy checkup that she was pregnant with twin boys. The news was thrilling for the entire Valdez family, and they couldn’t wait to meet the new babies soon.

Sadly, just two days later, Valdez was told she had stage 3 breast cancer, which came as a shocking surprise to the family. With two girls at home and two twin boys recently born, the Valdez family is asking for your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, LAAPOA will hold a 50/50 raffle at the Women’s Leadership and Empowerment Conference on October 17. Each raffle ticket costs just $5 (or $20 for five tickets), with half of the proceeds going to the raffle winner and the other half directly to Deputy Valdez and her family. The drawing will take place live at 4:30pm (further details on how to watch will be posted before the drawing), and you do not need to be present to win. The winner will also be announced on the website and contacted vial email or phone.
