Correctional Deputy Probation Officer II Ralph Serrano, died last week due to complications related to COVID-19.

Officer Serrano was an 18-year veteran of the San Diego County Probation Department. He leaves behind his wife, and three children. He was kindhearted and caring toward youth and his coworkers. He was a one-of-a-kind character who will be dearly missed.
